Free Adolescent Skills Workshop w/Alamo Ranch Counseling
This Skills Groups was created to help adolescents connect, grow, and learn to overcome their many hardships. Topics will range from subjects such as improving emotional regulation, increasing mindfulness, self-awareness, thinking habits, learning distress tolerance, and healthy relationship (friends, family, other) skills.
The groups will be in-person and last about 2 hours. The groups are not counseling groups but support or skills groups. The groups will be facilitated by the Alamo Ranch Counseling & Wellness Associate therapists or Graduate level Counselors, Supervised by Whitni Toson,MA,LPC-S
Mindfulness Skills Group for Mothers with Alamo Ranch Counseling
Hosted by Alamo Ranch Counseling, this group focuses on teaching mothers how to practice and learn mindfulness, navigate through anxious thoughts and crises, have a non-judgmental awareness of internal and external events, identify values, and prioritize what is important in their lives.
The group size will range from 4-8 participants.
The group runs for 6 weeks.
The group meetings will be in-person and last 75-90mins.
The group will be facilitated by Krystal Hoff, MA, LPC-Associate, Supervised by Whitni Toson, MA, LPC-S.
**Krystal will be using techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
